science-softCon UV/Vis+ Spectra Data Base (UV/Vis+ Photochemistry Database)
Spectral information (gas, liquid and solid phase from EUV-VUV-UV-Vis-NIR) and related data (e.g. information concerning publications on quantum yield studies or photolysis studies) from published papers. This database is a work in permanent progress. Additional spectra and data sheets will be added continuously.
The science-softCon "UV/Vis+
Spectra Data Base" is a non-profit project established in August 2000 and is subdivided into a Literature
Service and a Spectra Service (see "Letter
from the Editor"). Both database services are operated in accordance to
the "Open Access" definitions and regulations of
the CSPR Assessment Panel on Scientific Data and Information (International
Council for Science, 2004, ICSU Report of the CSPR Assessment
Panel on Data and Information; ISBN 0-930357-60-4).
The Literature Service provides spectra data sheets with information concerning publications of EUV-VUV-UV-Vis-NIR spectral data and related information (e.g. quantum yield studies, photolysis studies, etc.). Information provided by our "Literature Service" can be used free-of-charge. However, use of appropriate credits is requested.
To add your publication to the "Literature-Service" please send a reprint to helpdesk.
The Spectra Service provides in addition
the spectra data (high
and low resolution spectra, from low temperatures to high temperatures) in
digital form, graphical representations of the spectral data, and additional photochemical information.
The 11th Edition (2017) of the CD-ROM "UV/Vis+ Spectra Data Base" (Editors: A. Noelle, G.K. Hartmann, A. Fahr, D. Lary, Y.-P. Lee, P. Limao-Vieira, R. Locht, F.J. Martin-Torres, K. McNeill, J.J. Orlando, F. Salama, A.-C. Vandaele, R.P. Wayne and M. Brunger; ISBN 978-3-00-055351-6) is available. You will find more information on CD-ROMs.
Please find some reviews of the the on-line database and the CDs. Please check if your University/governmental Organization has already permanent access to the on-line database
the visibility of your scientific work and preserve your scientific
heritage from technical forgetting.
The on-line UV/Vis+ Spectra Data Base has a very high visibility within the photochemistry community. The database contains spectral information (gas, liquid and solid phase from EUV-VUV-UV-Vis-NIR) and related data .... read more
