The spectrum of the vapor shows considerable structure and progressions of 70, 390, 940, 1380, and 1420 cm-1 are observed. The liquid spectrum in this region shows several maxima having small extinction coefficients. Beyond 280 nm the extinction coefficient increases rapidly.
