Comments: The absorption cross-section of HC3N between 240 and 188 nm has been measured. 
The quantum yield for the process HC3N + hv --> C2H + CN at 193 nm is found to be about 0.05.
These experiments point to HC3N + hv --> H + C3N as the major process in the UV photolysis of cyanoacetylene.
